The babies were in the crib as I was strapped to a baby on my back. Ha! It was all falling into place, however it was not quite done. The issue was not whether the house was already equipped. Markets in town had room for me to market my items. There were numerous pieces that I did not think of a solution and I outgrew my space. My home became a place in which I held open houses, where up to 1,000 people could view the things on my first floor before purchasing the items. Growing Days was created in this home. The business wasn't just expanding, but so was our family of four. As a mom of a child, I found the right balance to both start my own company and be a good mother. I took a break from furniture that was vintage to enjoy some quality time with my family. This was precisely what I needed. The phone rang again after some time. People contacted me asking to assist them in decorating their homes and interiors. The majority of them were the ones who had strolled through my house during furniture open houses! After a while, I took on clients according to my schedule. Before long I had multiple accounts, as well as a house remodeling business. When you first spoke to me about my home renovation business I was astonished. When I look back, it makes me giggle.
