Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts was born in Atlanta on the 28th of October, 1967 as the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. Roberts is from the fourth generation of Roberts family to have been a resident of Atlanta. It began with her great grandfather John Pendleton Roberts who was a farm. Her father was the first interest to the theatre. As a college student studying at Emory University from 1952 to 1954, he was a part of many shows. He joined the military in 1953. While stationed in Biloxi Mississippi, he was a part of the military's production, which featured Betty Lou Bredemus who was as well in the Air force. They got married in the year 1955 and the couple's first child Eric Anthony was born in 1956. In 1957 the couple left the Air Force and Walter began his studies at Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. Walter worked with Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. The family moved in 1960 and moved into Decatur Georgia. Walter and Betty Lou produced a Saturday morning local television show for children known as Bum Bum and His Buddies in 1964, a project that they funded themselves. In 1964, Walter and Betty Lou established The Actors and Writers Workshop. The workshop lasted six years. In 1965, they welcomed two children to the family: Lelisa Billingsley and Julia Billingsley.
